What is a dle?

A daily game, or "dle", is a short puzzle that resets once a day with the same challenge for every player, so you can compare results with friends. Wordle started the trend, and the name stuck: many of them end in "-dle". There are now hundreds, covering words, geography, movies, music, logic, math and more. Nearly all are free to play in your browser, with no account or download.

Popular ones include Wordle, Connections, Strands, Worldle, Globle, Bandle, Framed and Costcodle.

How games are ranked

Every game has a community score based on up and down votes, so a game with a few votes can't outrank one that many people like. Newer games get a small freshness boost, and games that are frequently reported or whose links stop working are ranked lower. Anyone can vote, with or without an account.
